FASHION NOW
Summer is coming to an end, and the fall fashions are hitting the stores. This past season was full of bright, tropical colors and vibrant patterns creating a bold and cheerful look. So what’s in store for the months to follow?
The cooler months are right around the corner, but you may not be ready to pack away all of your colorful wardrobe favorites from the summer just yet. With a little over a month of good weather left, we can start to slowly transition our wardrobes from one season to the next.
Traditionally fall is not complete without classic muted and safe colors such as black, multiple shades of gray, and earthy brown tones. For those who prefer to play it safe, combinations of black and navy can be a sophisticated and contemporary way of pairing up your classic pieces. We will also see cool ivories and grays at the forefront of fashion this winter.
If you are on the more adventurous side of style, attempt brighter
tones in place of your common neutrals. Colors to keep your eye on
for the fall are cooler, hazier blues, along with vibrant greens and
plums. Punchier and contrasting colors to take along with you into
the changing season are warm reds, oranges and yellows. Rather then
rushing out to buy all of the newest fashions, take your time. Slowly
transition into the fall by combining your punchy colors with the classic
fall neutrals. Create a new look while using your fall basics as a
clean canvas.
Looking at accessories last season, we saw an array of eyewear using
different sizes and materials, as well as retro styles making a come
back. Plastic frames of all sorts have been a sought after look for
the past few seasons. With eyewear being an extension of your own personal
style and image, make a statement and try something new for fall.
